It is with a great deal of pride, pleasure and muscular aching that I can annouce my successful completion of the Leeds Abbey Dash. I managed to complete the ten kilometre (6.2 mile) course in just under an hour - far, far quicker than I had hoped for, especially given my training hiccups over the last month or so. I'll find out my actual time in the next few days.

Update: my official time was 57 minutes 46 seconds.
