Quite why the fair City of Liverpool seems to be such a fertile source of inspiring, amusing, scary and downright ridiculous news stories is something I've never quite understood. Living in Liverpool for three years provided me with some insight, but I still can't get to grips with it.

Take yet another story from icLiverpool, for example. It's a daily read of mine, as it's nice to know what is going on in a city I used to call home.

Bus swiped by teens.

I kid you not.

Some kids (let's call them 'youths' for no apparent reason) make off with a single-decker Arriva bus. In a glorious twist, the bus was used to take Arriva staff to a party at a hotel in Prescot and was stolen from under their noses.
