Coming to a kebab shop near you... Elton John
Here's a very interesting story from Liverpool's Daily Post. This is our capital of culture in 2008, don't forget folks.
"Takeaways are playing songs by Elton John and Westlife to clubbers in a bid to stop fights breaking out in the early hours."
"The idea behind playing the tracks in kebab shops is to calm customers down who have been listening to loud, fast dance music. Merseyside Police now wants the idea to be taken up in town centres throughout the county."
Sheesh!
Personally, I think that playing Elton John and Westlife will probably cause more fights than it stops, and will probably cause a fair bit of additional chundering for good measure.

In answer to the above... the number of excellent blogs I've found just by following some 'click this for a random blog' link defies belief. I can't remember which site I was at, but it offered a random-factor-link-thing and hey presto...

Random links.
randomness.
It's a good thing I don't find myself funny.
Elton J has some good songs. Of course, that was from when he wasn't such a tart. Westlife, however, are the spawn of....not evil...cos evil is cool, but...something...very....Westlife are the spawn of accountants! AHAHAA!
*hides* Blame the coffee.
How did you find my site btw?
